Break the routine

How well do you really know your city?

Most of us walk the same ways for years. CLAYM shows you the streets you've never set foot on – and turns every walk, run and bike ride into a small discovery. It keeps you moving, almost without noticing.

Why exploring makes you fitter

Curiosity is a better motivator than a training plan. If you want to see something new, you walk further, more often and more gladly.

Curiosity

Every grey street on the map is an open question. Many people only notice on the way that they've already walked three kilometres.

Routine

Clear goals like “all of Gostenhof” give your tours a direction – week after week.

Reward

Points for every new street, a bonus for whole streets, badges for monthly challenges.

One walk a day already makes a difference

A large analysis of 57 studies shows: people who walk about 7,000 instead of 2,000 steps a day have a clearly lower risk of heart disease and dementia. Most of the benefit already comes at 5,000 to 7,000 steps.

−25%cardiovascular disease
−38%dementia
−47%risk of death overall

Source: Ding et al., The Lancet Public Health 2025, 7,000 compared with 2,000 steps a day. Observational studies, not a medical promise.

Frequently asked questions

Where do points count?

Wherever the world map is green: already in 101 countries, with more added all the time. The world map shows which countries are included. Where we go next also depends on where the waiting-list sign-ups come from.

Who can see my routes?

Only you. Other players see your player name, your points and which streets belong to your territory.

Does CLAYM cost anything?

No. Recording, points, territory and leaderboard are free. CLAYM Plus adds extra tools for €0.99 a month.
